Two Degrees of Separation

It is past the time

To save small pockets of life

On diminishing

Patches of fenced in landscape

Pretending that is normal

Send the Polar bears

To where they can survive

Solid Antarctica

When the blue ice does melt away

They won’t drown in front of us

Stop pretending that

As we destroy all the wild

Habitat the animals

Can’t be moved over the globe

To places not yet consumed

We are one planet
