Kelp

The kelp swayed

Deep into the sun streaked

Water

Darker as it receded

Its synchronized movement

Illuminated in patches

Slanted shafts defusing

Through the forest

As it brushed

My skin

Enveloped me

Drew me down

Small bubbles cascading

Upward to the light

 Through swelling leaves

Still I sank

A small indiscretion

From eternity
